Dan Prijatel

Associate Creative Director
Dan Prijatel – brings more than 15 years of graphic design and advertising experience to W. A. Fisher Advertising & Printing.

An Ely native, Prijatel is a graduate of Bemidji State University, with degrees in technical illustration and graphic design. He has also received a U.S. Army officer’s commission. Prior to joining the staff at W. A. Fisher, Dan most recently owned and operated Big Aspen Design and served as creative director at JPG Communications, headquartered in Virginia, Minnesota.

Hired as Associate Creative Director at W. A. Fisher in May 2007, Dan oversees the agency’s Art Department and works with clients to develop creative marketing and advertising concepts.

Dan has worked directly with several clients at the local, regional and national levels. Some of the key accounts Dan has overseen include: Touchstone Energy, National Rural Electric Association, The Teberg Fund, Como Oil and Propane, Aces Power Marketing, Iron Range Resources, EAR Inc (Boulder, CO), Super One Foods, Hunt Technologies, North Shore Bank and the Blandin Foundation.

He has been the recipient of several awards including: three awards from the IABC Washington, D.C. Silver Inkwell Award of Merit in 2003, and one “Addy” award from the Lake Superior Ad Club for logo/trademark design, as well as two citations of excellence in brochure printing and advertising from the Lake Superior Ad Club.

Dan and his wife, Kara, live in Britt with their two sons.
